Quick bit of market research (apologies if this has been done before). When you come on TFF, what do you mostly do?

I look for stars on the forums I am interested in and check them out. If it's a new thread or something I have been interested in before then I'll read it, otherwise I'll mark the forum as read and move on.

The stars on the icons next to the forums denote where there are unread posts.

On the desktop, participated. On tapatalk, undead (participated doesn't work on tapatalk).
90% of my browsing these days is mobile - its how I access TFF, ausbowl and nzbbn.com, and honestly the primary reason I rarely visit the naf (browsing forums on a mobile is profoundly unsatisfying).

Gotta love that autocorrect on "unread".

I log in, and see if there are threads 'open'. I dont click on 'new posts' or anything, just look through the fora.

I mostly click "view new posts" and then move onto "view your posts" if that seems to miss something I was interested in.

Generally, I use the 'view new posts' page via a bookmark or 'view your posts' if I've posted something recently and don't want to miss anything.
If there is a specific topic that I want to research then I'll browse by topic and/or search.
I do 90% of my web browsing on mobile and the most important thing is to be able to read the content; I don't need or want anything fancy.
On TFF (and most sites) I use the keep me logged in feature. This is a big factor of not using the NAF forums it is an unnecessary button click at the very least to make me login each time.
I tended to stay away from the theNAF.net as I know it doesn't or didn't work on my iphone.

"New posts", both on the laptop and when on mobile.
