Creating LRB4-6 and stats? History lesson.

Just wondering how many games the BBRC recorded for their statistical analysis when they made LRB4-6? Also are the stats available somewhere.

Another thing, did Doubleskulls/Galaktastarscaper write a long text about the work he/they did at some point, and does anyone have a link to it.

Anything else you might think I would find interesting, spam away! :)

Hope someone can help :)

plasmoid collected all the data from the reported league games. I'm not sure if the webpage he set up that had all that information is still around but that would be what you are looking for to see the testing games on the rules.

As for me writing anything up. 90% of the development was done publically but unfortunately was done on the SG forums which are now deleted by GW.

The 10% that was private was:
1) the BBRC meetings and votings
2) Jervis' mandates on what had to happen regardless of the BBRC vote otherwise (Petty Cash instead of the Bankbeing the biggest example of that).

However ... I'm still around and not senile yet ... so if you have questions ... always willing to try and explain why I changed a rule the way I did or why it was changed by someone else and I was along for the ride.

Cheers I will keep that in mind. :)

Just saw this: http://naf.talkfantasyfootball.org/lrb6.html 54000 matches recorded for LRB6 and 37000 for LRB5, that is indeed huge numbers.

Those results are for matches played only after the rules were put into place. They were not used to develop the rules. They just help to show the results of what we did but not in league games ... those are showing you the balance of the rules at TV 100 to TV 115.

Yeah but I suppose you used some of the LRB5 stats when working on LRB6? Still the number of games recorded seems very large to me.

As said I was wondering how large the number was for recorded league games, even if it is just a ball park number. :)
