Worst team in blood bowl?

Hello all you talk fantasy football heads out there. I posted this thread for what you guys to decide what the worst team in Blood Bowl is and why. I think halflings, but they are my favorite stunty team. First off, there are only two player types, o making miniatures is easy. 2. Not so many positions to remember like gobbos even though I really like gobbos. 3. They have treeman with ST.6, and they have TTM. The halflings themselves are the worst player in Blood Bowl except for the snotling. They offer a unique challenge but not overpowering in my book.

It depends on a lot of things, like if we're talking starting rookie teams, tournament teams with 1.1 mil and some skills, developed teams, et cetera...
But it's gotta be one of the following:
Halfling
Goblin
Vampire
Khemri
Halfling and Goblins never really get any better, barring some +AG stunties, whereas Vampire and Khemri can develop somewhat nicely. At 1000TV, though, both Khemri and Vampire are utterly terrible. Against a team with some player removal potential, vamps will really struggle if they go down in thralls early, while Khemri really have no chance against agile teams or hybrid teams at the 1000tv level of play.

Ogres
Shocking team, you only have 6 players and they are not reliable

Yes, it really depends at what stage. Teams without block/tackle, it cannot knock down halflings efficiently. Khemri and vamps are pretty terrible at tv 1000. At tourneys, halflings could do well with the right coach. Ogre's, they are pretty much always terrible. Snots cannot do anything really. Ogre's really cannot get any excellent improvement skills to totally change the game. Basically, stunties like the AG+.
I think the Khemri not having the ability in the ability to compete against agility teams. They have sure hands on the thro-ras but is not incredible. Block on two blitzras, the team is not exceptional at beginning tv.

I think no question worst team is Ogres. The ogres themselves are decent at hurting people, but snotlings just kill the team.
They're cheap, but die easily and need a lot of luck to get close to a one turn touchdown.
Halflings are much more reliable and goblins are much more fun.

First off gotta say thank you to kilawog for replying to my thread. I think we all agree ogres. Yes the ogres are decent, but I really hate the snotts. I think having a st. 2 player on ogres is not overpowering. Goblin's I think are the best of the stunty teams. Please, don't say lizards.
I can also agree with elves. I am an absotely huge elf hater. They win one way, but against me they end up killin' themselves. (Thanks to the awesome power of norse.) They cannot bash in a bashing contest. They have to score quickly which gives bash the whole game to kill every single elf out there. The 2-1 grind comes to mind and the elfs end up losing. If your saying, hey the elves can get it back on defense. Maybe wood elves, but elves (I am talking about all elves in this post) are not incredible at defense.

Ogres are the worst by a fair margin.
Snotlings would be excellent players if they exerted a proper tacklezone. Unfortunately, they don't and thus really struggle to control any kind of agility team.

Are we talking about elves (generic) or Pro Elves (the term most people use for the "Elves" team)?
Depending on the situation an elf player ought to be aiming to score slowly rather than quickly. This might seem a bit weird but with a bit of practice they can play an eight turn drive with reasonable consistency.

Gotta agree with sillysod on elves. An elf coach scoring in 2 turns vs a bash team (at the start of a half) should expect to lose the game and players, unless they're confident on getting the turnover. The good elf coaches will score later.

If you get the chance to venture forth from the icy northern wastes then arrange a game vs some of the better elf (wood/dark/pro) coaches and I think you'll find they put up one heck of a defence - to the point that actually scoring against them is an achievement in itself!

Ogres without a doubt, although I disagree that it's the snots that kill the team. Yes the snots squish easily, but if you look after them and have a full bench, you may have enough to last a full game.
For me the only problem is the ogre's unreliability. That, and the fact that they only get useful skills only on a double. Also how expensive they are. And the re-roll cost.
Once I changed my game-plan to 1 - kill all mens, 2 - score (time-permitting), rather than simply trying to win, they became a much more enjoyable team to coach.

OGRES ROCK!
Really to have a team with 16 players is pretty neat. Don't throw them around so they don't get hurt, and always dodge away on a 2+. Remember that they opponent still needs to dodge away and without block make them blitz and roll a pow first.
then with break tackle the ogres are all over the place. 4 are enough for a tourney.
