Is there a "Fantasy Football Magazine"?

Post by Trollblanc »

Is there a printed "Fantasy Football Magazine" and if not - why? (Copyright issues? limited market? what about print on demand?)

No. There used to be a GW one, but they stopped that, along with all the other Specialist Games magazines.

There have been various attempts at online magazines, and most (if not all) have folded, normally due to the "staff" losing interest or time, and lack of articles etc. from coaches.

Given the above, and the fact you'd need GW's permission to use "Blood Bowl" (which they won't give if you're doing something for profit) and I think the chance of a physical magazine is somewhere between none and zero.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I liked the old House Rulez web-zine.

I produced BL!TZ Magazine for just over a year between 2011 and 2012, and Southern Strike prior to that (you can still get the back issues on ausbowl.com) but real life got in the way and I simply couldn't continue to make it. There was a smaller mag called End Zone I think that you may be able to find. The AFOUL in Adelaide have started a small mag as well, which you can also find on AusBowl.
