Talk Fantasy Football

It's not long time for our club to start. New league, and I'm running Khorne this time round. Should be around 14-20 scheduled games with a mix of starting and developed teams entering.

Just wondered how others in a similar position have handled the star players? Have you house ruled six stars for them, and if so, who? I saw the previous bread which gave some ideas of who could be used, but I'm more interested in actual experience if there is any? For example, I understand how Roxanna or Horkon fit in fluff wise, but both seem a bit overpowered in the Khorne team?

Currently I think we're suggesting Max Spleenripper, Crazy Igor, Lord Borak, Grashnak, Morg and one other? Very much open to changing this though.

We chose the same stars as you with Brick Farth & Grotty as the 6th selection. I wanted to give them access to 2 chainsaws (Helmut Wulf as the other), but Igor was voted in instead.

I've been running the team with just those available in Cyanide. Whilst not great, I've not come up against a situation where I could even afford a cheap star (and at up to 150k other standard inducements are often better value)

A longer season like you're suggesting may see stars more often, but the ones you suggest plus Lewdgrip would be fine (I too am olde skoole Slannesh v Khorne hatred, but also pragmatic enough to be ok with GWs new "all chaos chums together" world)

I went with:
Star Players: Helmut (110K), Max (130K), Wilhelm (240K), Borak (300K), Grashnak (310K), Morg (420K)

If I remember right then that's the Chaos star, but Lewdgrip removed (being Slaanesh) and a second chainsaw added - suitably Khornate
