How do you sit, FUMBBL style? Tourney Style?

When setting up your board and table to play in person how do you prefer to sit?
1. FUMBBL style=
2. Tourney style=
3. Lovers seat

Prefer tourney style however when playing HAWK play FUMBBL style, he cannot handle it!!

I prefer tabletop style (ie what youve called "tourney").
I can play "side on", or "PBeM style" (what you've called "FUMBLL style", though PBeM was there before), mainly as I played lots of PBeM games. Think I've played this way twice on a tabletop.
Never tried the "lovers seat" way, and not sure I'd want to.

He can't handle my Goblins either!!
When I first played Nazgob he wanted to sit sideways on. and I wanted to sit tabletop, so we sat at right angles!!

Tourney style is what I'm comfortable with. I'd try FUMBBL style if my opponent wanted to. "Lover's seat", I think I'd be too tempted to throw an elbow when he clawpombs my best receiver...

Tourney style is what I grew up playing as it's easier for most of the venues i've played in in terms of space but Fumbbl style is much better for actually moving all the minis on the pitch, kinda funny when it's mostly used in formats that don't require physically moving minis.

Fumbbl Style... of course 99.9% of my games are on FUMBBL.

In real life games I have always played tourney style, but that is because it is usually the most space efficient.
I’ve played far more games online than in tabletop so could handle either. Mind you when I played on Cyanide I hated their version of FUMBBL style, but then all their angles were a bit off and confusing.
