Blood Bowl E-mag

Post by Oly1987 »

If a monthly blood bowl mag was to be made, with articles on races, tactics, mag league, and miniature development and releases would GW come down on it with great vengence and furious anger?

It's mainly Oz centric, but has some good indepth reports on events and the like...
You'll really need a good solid team of contributors to get a full padded out quarterly.

It all depends if you use their logos and images. If you dont call it 'Blood Bowl Magazine' but use somethinf 'Fantasy Foootball' ish and use your own and write your own reviews including miniatures painted by you there is nothing really they can do about it. They can only legally challenge anything they own the rights to protect. Good luck though :)

I haven't yet had any issues with BL!TZ and, while we don't specifically show new releases, we promote all FF companies who sponsor Australian events.

I'd just be aware of the effort required to produce a monthly BB e-zine. Bl!tz is quarterly and, despite quite a bit of content being produced by other people, SinisterDexter (the Bl!tz editor) still has to put in a huge amount of work to get each issue created.

Given that you aren't likely to be selling the e-zine, you have to ask yourself if you're willing to put in all that effort every single month for no financial reward.
