Do Freebooters (Star Players, Wizards, Freebooter Players) apear on the Team Roster and in the Total Cost of Team and as a result, affect Team Rating ?

Erm, I think I'm not understanding you here, but I'd say the answer is "Both." You calculate your team rating immediately after you've completed the match, but this is before the next match.

It is the money that you had available before the match began that counts towards your team rating. The fact that you've used them for freebooting doesn't matter.

Because the Roster that is currently used was originally drawn up for an older version of the game where you could permanently hire a wizard. This has been changed with the latest version but no new roster sheet has been produced yet.

3.Wizards are freebooted too, just change their costing on the roster to 50k-easy.

Nope ... hiring Freebooters has no effect on TR at all.

If I freeboot a Human Lineman for 25k he counts 25k towards my team rating.

So no effect at all ... the order of events is fine as is.

Ok Galak, what you say is Version A:

All freebooters cost their respective appearance fee, so treasury is reduced, and Team rating stays the same.

The Wizard Entry on the refsheet2001.pdf file must be removed then, not changed like it was.


Version B is also possible:

A Freebooter adds to the Team Roster his full COST according to the Team or Starplayer Lists.

Griff Oberwald adds 180K to the Total Cost of team, even if he freeboots for 90.000

No its Version A definitely ... team rating does not go up from freebooting IF I understand the rules correctly.

And yes the wizard is an error on the pdf being listed still as 150k.

No that's right ... freebooted wizards now cost 50k to freeboot so that is the effect on team rating also.

Galak, why the heck should i write a HIRED Wizard in my Team roster ? and recalculate my TCOT if the Guy vanishes right after the Game, and therefore doesnt affect the ROSTER at all ?

I mean, theres no line for Halfling Master Chefs neither, or Dwarfen Alchemists. is there ?

Either you write everybody participating in the Game on the Sheet, adding their COST, or you simply pay the hire fee and dont change the roster at all.

Assuming you are wright about Treasury & Team Rating, the Wizardline must be deleted completely.
