Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Raven_Talons wrote:so let me get this straght. One skill per action. So I couldn't use accurate and strong arm togther. WHY WOULD I WANT STRONG ARM THEN. Also it means that while blocking the block roll happens. My guy has block theres don't. They fall down. Now I can't use pile on cause I used the block skill. The same thing with tackle. If I got the knockdown unless dodge roll and I have tackle. There down but now I can't use pileing because I used tackle. This si not making any sense to me
The kind peeps at Fanatic did mention that it was only skills which gave you rerolls that were mutually exclusive (ie: you could only use one of them per action) in 4th ed. Still I do think that even one use of each skill per turn per player is limiting the fun quite a bit! Woodelves a durned fast so they should be able to dodge-dodge-dodge their way to a TD! And anyone whos fought a ogre in FB will know they dont go down after one hit...Those brutes should be able to easily block, even if they have taken a minor action prior to the main act!
So wat rules are going to become offical. Is 4th really being sccarpped. I am more confused when I went back in time

The 4th ed was scrapped two years ago. Forget about it and play with the LRB.
Some people still think that the LRB is 4th ed. Sheesh.
If you really want to get technical, the LRB is really the 4th edition, because it has been released as a seperate edition (the box set with the new rulebook), whereas the so-called 4ed was only in BBmag1 & 2 (not an actual seperate rulebook) and the box set wasn't being produced at that time.
