last year the halflings we're announced at GAMA in March.
Doom Lords we're also announced at the 2018 iteration

Looks like there is a GAMA 2020 planned from March 9th

Yeah...though I would lean towards May based on the last two years.

The Doom Lords went on pre-order in the last week of April 2018.
The Grasshuggers went on pre-order the last week of May, so hit the shelves in June 2019 - practically a 6 month gap after the Champions of Death release (..impressive that GW got three more teams in the year)

I'd like to think that the next release willl be early May.

Dec - Norse

...though my guesses to date have been woefully incorrect and I don't expect that to change

I'd still like to see a Lizards Blitz Bowl team and people have been asking about Nurgle.

I've noticed you can't get the specialised team pitches and dice sets from the GW website anymore. Is the only way to get them now is to pre-order them directly from GW before a new team is released? Kind of silly if true.

we talk a lot about the next teams.. but..

What about star players?

They are piling up a lot, and fw release very few miniatures of them..

some miniatures could be very interesting, I am especially interested in gobbler grimlich.

Do we have any news?

I'm curious about how well the star players sell. £19 for a single model is quite a lot and many of the stars are pretty situational. FW sculptors must have a lot of other projects to work on and I'm sure Horus Hersey marines take a similar amount of time to do and sell much better.

Looks like Forgeworld has focused on key stars from the 3rd edition, which makes sense as they are the best known. Though don't think we really needed another Griff and Zug. They have done a few of the cool new ones like the twins and Gloriel at least.

But I suspect some stars will never get models as it would take decades to do them all at this rate.
