I could think of several coaches at the BB I'd be happy to concede to as long as they put their clothes back on.

Sputnik ??
the best that would do is give you the best coach of the naf... :)

there are plenty of us on here who aren't in that league for whatever reason...self included. now i'm not saying i am the best coach on here, but i don't think i should be automatically discounted just because i don't play in the right league. :)

Maybe. I wouldn't discount anybody's advice, but NAF ranking counts for a lot.
Why? It's proven. Face to face. Sputnik has now played 17 games against international opposition in three tournies (outside his home nation), all of which were swiss format, and suffered 1 defeat and (I believe) 2 draws and 14 wins. That makes Sputnik a known quantity and a fearsome opponent. The whole S.B.B! thing was a massive compliment in many ways.

I've heard good things about wesleytj through online play reputation and tactic articles he's written, but he remains less of a known quantity than Sputnik for obvious reasons.

(With respect) Zombie's a complete unknown element. Locality and insularity dictate that. He could be amongst the best there are. He could just play in a league of muppets. The point is that neither we (or he) know how good he really is.

My point is that we know the guys at the top of the NAF rankings are quality players by dint of them being there.

And it's not a league!

Like i said, she doesn't have to know. She could just assume we're all good and when someone gives her advice that sucks, she'll know through the replies.
