yeah...while we're at it, you could do the same to spps for cas, mighty blow, and diving tackle.

The big problem with it is when you have 5 str and Mighty Blow. It's a real big problem in my league. Racing to get 5 Str. guys with PO has replaced Dirty Player. Galak's stats for casualty differentials between Khemri Mummies with Mighty Blow and Khemri Mummies with Foul Apperance are very telling.

Yeah, I like it that way. Not because there's a chance you won't get through, but, more importantly, because there's a chance you didn't need to pile on in the first place and have just lost your tacklezone and 3 points of MA.

Changing PoN back is cool.Milo wrote:That is one of the possibilities we will be considering.Pariah wrote:I tend to think that Zombie is right about Piling On. Just put it back how it was. What's the problem with that?
Just leave Diving Tackle alone please. Its either the 1st or 2nd skill I give my Halflings. Declaring DT before the roll makes the skill pretty useless.

i think it's pretty useless now. what i meant was make it like it was in 3rd ed where ya getta throw a block with it. if you think it's too powerful make it a trait.GalakStarscraper wrote:Changing PoN back is cool.Milo wrote:That is one of the possibilities we will be considering.Pariah wrote:I tend to think that Zombie is right about Piling On. DT is not useless now, it's just very different. It used to be a way for a ballcarrier to hit a blitzer for free. Paired with sidestep, it's now a way for agility teams to keep the ballcarrier from breaking away.

I like DT the way it is now but I agree with Galak, it would be crap if you had to declare it before the dice.
I haven't had a chance to try it out though as I don't have an agillity team at the moment and there aren't really enough in my league to justify getting it anyway.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".

Yeah, but when was it asked to change the undead? Why change an already working formula? The Chaos wasn't dismantled to create the Nurrgles. From the NAF seminar hosted by Andy Hall and Jervis Johnson:
Khemri Blitz-Ra and Throw-Ra players are dropping to AG2
COFAB will almost certainly be used on the Vampire Team in some form.
They were experimental teams. We experimented, we decided what we liked, we commented, we discussed alternatives, it got listened to, it got changed.
On that note, off of 4th it was said that the BBRC didn't want to make any new skills, yet here we have "the Beast" with a new one. I'd also like to add that that Warhammer fig is featured more prominantly in BBMag's pics than the Rotters...

I agree with Galak too. I like DT the way it is...and there in lies the problem because we'll have to sit though a BBRC lecture about consistency in the rules...as if there is any now.

I wish I could comment on this.

Guess we have to agree to disagree here. The fact that the Beast can create Rotters from kills is just a modified version of the Undead Zombie rules ... ie I don't see any new skills from where I sit. Push, Juggernaut, Wings, Perfect Spiral, Trip Up, Stiff Arm ... those are new skills.BullBear wrote:On that note, off of 4th it was said that the BBRC didn't want to make any new skills, yet here we have "the Beast" with a new one.
