I dub thee "Gollum". If I had the power, I'd change your Mega Star status to Dice Gollum.

Haven't played anything in awhile. See my gaming group suffers from a rare disease called maturity. Everyone is moving or getting married. Oh well gonna have to recuit some freshmen from the Uni.

As for what we play. Used to play AD&D (actually played the basic D&D & Palladium more) I have 3rd edition and can't wait to try it. I'm also ready to try the new Star Wars RPG too.

Oh - you've got to watch out for that. First they think ordering pizza at 1am is a bad idea and the next thing you know they don't want to admit that they know who Brainiac 5 is in public.

 I can't take full credit for it - a friend of mine said he once saw it on a bumper sticker. I think he had to pull over or something, he was laughing so hard!

In most tourneys, BB or otherwise you are expected to bring everything needed to play with you, dice included. I have no problem with tourneys or leagues that require you to use communal, or event provided dice. I have a problem with someone getting an attitude over dice with nothing to indice any kind of cheating. Thinking its "fishy" if I prefer to keep some greasy slobs fingers off my dice is some pretty thin evidence. I play this game for enjoyment, I have nothing to prove, so I have no reason to care about fishy dice. I realize some people do live and die by their status as a "gamer". If you are reasonable about it, no prob; I'll play your way. If you get all holier than tho, and pack up and leave then insist I be thrown out of the league we will have a problem. The bottom line is that everyone has their preferences. Overt cheating is a whole nother matter, and I thought was this thread started out about.

At a tournament, i would expect my opponent to either use the dice that come in the game, or share his dice with me for fairness. No two dice are perfectly equal. If you have your own dice, chances are they're above average even if you won't admit it or even don't realize it.

ditto - I guessed it was some remark about warhammer or some other obscure RPG but I think the full finesse of that is lost on us pure BBers

I get the WWYD tho, I had a mate who wore one of those straps on your wrist - we could get the NAF to make some with

What Would Nuffle Do

and then give them out to people in the tourny to help them think tactics
