Worst team in blood bowl?

Actually it says that, but I know alot more than you think. Beat the Best. I understand that dwarves are a very nooby team. They do have weaknesses is all I am trying to say, though hardly any. I know they are easy, played against plenty of dwarves in my day.

Now, I think dwarves and wood elves can be a little overpowered, though I think dwarves are better because of the av.9 and the slowness doesn't seem to affect them. I have beaten wood elves into the turf with norse.

@icepelt: this gets trotted out more than the month python references......it's the only tournament game he's ever won with Gobbo's and the guy he was playing actually fainted at the end of the second turn.......however he's so boring as well no one noticed!!

I think halflings are awesome. In our league they made them too good.

They have added:Halflings are now av.7 (By the way I voted against all of the following and av.7)

Catchers:5-2-4-6 Stunty,Dodge,Right Stuff Normal:Agility. Doubles:P,G,S
Too god, but I took no catchers and wanted them at av.7, so don't call me cheap.

I think I just found my new best friend. I hate dwarves. The one team I'd like to nerf more then any other change to the game.

To bring the topic a bit closer to the topic:

For rookie teams, vamps definately suck, but after getting a few skills (blodge) on them they sure are in a different league. Just don't take too many vamps and allways try to have thralls next to where you wanna do stuff with the vamps in case of a missed blood lust. They are either really potent, when you don't roll the ones, then they can everything. OR when the 1'es are all you seem to roll, they implode. All in all I definately would not consider them as the single worst team, they are just very different.

Amazons are fine. Filthy in tournaments cos of the four blodgers and easy access to a load more but in leagues mv6 and AV7 means that they are like spring flowers, come up quickly but then die in the heat. Kinda think they are bloodbowl with the training wheels on. All can dodge so you can re-position when you mess up with a degree of safety. Everyone catches and dodges on the same numbers and the stat line is the same so you don't need to remember too much. Finally re rolls are cheap so you can max out on them. Like I say BB for beginners.

I have a slight issue with Dark and High elves cos of all that AV8 and AG4 feels like cheating to me.

*cough* splutter. High Elves!? I've played them for many years. Was just discussing them yesterday at Chaos Cup. High Elves are very much like Humans, but trading the Ogre for AG4 w/o Dodge and ST3 Catchers. Beginning HElves can't hit, so they are forced to dodge away without the skill, so they burn team rerolls. If they suffer a casualty, they are expensive to replace. There are certainly worse teams; I think they are very middle of the road. Don't see them winning many tournaments in the US.

Lol, no. To me it feels more like 6-of-1, half-dozen of the other. AG4 is great, but without Dodge on several players, you are guaranteed to roll a '1' and have your turns end early on a regular basis. Without your own big guy, you have to run away from theirs all game.

I don't think one is dramatically better or worse than the other, but more experienced coaches can feel free to disagree. That's fine. I'd love to see High Elves win more tournies, though.
