Just adding my thanks to Tom for his work over the last few years, hopefully GW will have the sense not to let it go to waste.

I would say I've always admired your (Galak's) willingness to take ownership of the rules review process and (as such) take the stick that has come your way. Whether or not I agree with how specific things have worked along the way / turned out over time, I have always thought that you have done a fine job as a figurehead and carried yourself very well. It's a job that I know I wouldn't have handled nearly as well as you, or indeed have taken on in the first place.

I hope you are able to enjoy the fruits of your labours for a fair while to come.

Thanks Pgoo. I know what I've done has not always been popular with everyone. I appreciate the nod that while it might not have been always popular ... someone needed to do it. I appreciate the thoughts.

Thanks Galak.
They're really doing their best to alienate us. There must be something wrong with our money.

I'll also chime in with more thanks, it's been a highly appreciated contribution.

I'll add another drink to the list of what I'll buy you should we ever meet.

Like others, a big thank from France, Galak.

And as said in other post, your job, in all cases, will not lost.

Kudos from Australia.

I don't post much, but I really appreciate all the work you have put in to this game.

GW's move has only solidified my resolve to now only purchase from other miniatures manufacturers.

Thanks again for all your work.

Dear Tom,

"Dankeschön, es war wunderschön" from Germany!

So only one thing can stop my frustration now and this is your hint, that "the mission is completed".

Good luck for your personal future ... and always a re-roll left in times of a double-skull!

Wow. Just... wow.

Tom, you are the reason that I even play Blood Bowl today. Without your PBeMTool or your constant dedication to the LRB I wouldn't be playing Blood Bowl at all.

I remember a phone call I received a few years back from a guy in Indiana, US in response to a post I made on a forum. I'm still not exactly sure how you tracked me down but it just shows your passion for the game. You also instilled a lot of trust in me when I was running a PBeM league and needed to cheat check the files, you allowed me access to some features of the software that allowed me to do that.

Its been such a long and strange trip and one that I certainly hope isn't over. I hope that this release from the BBRC will allow you to actually ENJOY the game again. I hope it also will allow you to speak your mind freely and not have to always check your thoughts or personal feelings at the door.

Thank you for all of your hard work, just know that a guy from Indiana changed the life of a guy in New York (now Maryland). Now, take some time off, concentrate on Impact!, enjoy time with the family, and if you get bored during the cold winter months you could always do some programming...

Thanks Tom!

Wow, GW really are a shocking bunch. Not that they would care in the slightest, but I will no longer be buying any of their products again if this is how they can treat someone who deserves so much more.
Best of luck with Impact! Tom.
