Thanks! I've started dabbing paint on mine already, so should be ready for the deadline

While painting I got myself asking: how is the exchange organised? In pairs or like a circle exchange? And do we get to know the forum names of the partner we send our mini to?

Mine is in the mail! I included my forum name, just so the "lucky" person knows. I'm definitely not the best painter, but it was fun participating as it made me stretch more. I actually tackled eyes for the first time in probably 30 years.

Cutting it close? Yeah, that's probably me too... I did choose a nice figure though...

I am using the figure I had planned on using as my underworld troll. I may be out of my depth, but it is a really cool looking model

Working on it... Primed it last night! I actually did a bit of conversion on this, which is not a normal part of my process. Pretty excited.

Re: 3rd annual TFF figure exchange
I finished painting today (self high five) and started basing. I wonder if basing is such a good idea though considering I need to send it somehow. Anybody any good advice on how to pack a based mini safely and as small as possible?
Oh, and we are going to post pictures of all the minis in the end, right?

sending my troll out in a glue tube, unless it is $11 million to do that, then will have to send wrapped in bubble wrap in a padded envelope.Saebelsultan wrote:I finished painting today (self high five) and started basing. Alright, I just send my mini. Post office states it takes about 5 days to reach its destination in the US.
Just for information reasons: I packed it in the blister the mini came in and then put that in a padded envelope. Postage cost me 5,60 € for a large letter including insurance.
I just hope it gets there unharmed!
