I didn't really care what came after this, anyone who starts a post quoting Mitch gets +1.Shteve0 wrote:Digger me old mate, in the immortal words of Mitch Hedberg...
From what I've read on various other mini forums, for some strange arcane legal reason (that's beyond me), they'd have to license it (or something) from GW (even though GW owns FW), wich means it's not a goer.Shteve0 wrote:Why they've not been tempted to put out a team is beyond me. I suspect even if that rule was in place that Forgeworld would not bother with BB model for 2 reasons.Darkson wrote:From what I've read on various other mini forums, for some strange arcane legal reason (that's beyond me), they'd have to license it (or something) from GW (even though GW owns FW), wich means it's not a goer.Shteve0 wrote:Why they've not been tempted to put out a team is beyond me. I think one of the FW guys said somewhere that they'd like to do BB models (and other Specialist Games) but they were unable.
Just a minor point of order here, I worked for GW for 5 years in retail and did a lot of work for Fanatic as well. Then I left and went to Morrisons for 5 years (UK supermarket).Darkson wrote:GW care as much about their frontline staff as your average supermarket does their average shelf Stacker i.e. not at all.
And after reading that, I heard "bada bum tsh".JT-Y wrote:GW were worse.
Well NOW I'm curious... details, details, I want details!JT-Y wrote: Morrisons were terrible human beings
GW were worse.
I know well the tyranny of Morrison's, I got fired with an added police escort! All that for just 'acting suspiciously', no actual losses or signs of shoplifting from my department just me bein' creepy. Lovely company.JT-Y wrote:Just a minor point of order here, I worked for GW for 5 years in retail and did a lot of work for Fanatic as well. Morrisons was a shit employer who told me off for getting the missus to phone in for me when I was in a hospital bed, and refused me holiday for my wedding, amongst many, many other annoying little gems.
Aweful, aweful employers.
GW were worse.
I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that it's something to do with the colander helmet...inkpwn wrote:I know well the tyranny of Morrison's, I got fired with an added police escort! I wouldn't dream of going in to it, not here.Lunchab1es wrote:Well NOW I'm curious... details, details, I want details!
Probably worse. Asda (another UK supermarket) is owned by Wal-Mart, and they have a pretty decent reputation for staff care in comparrison.commisar ken wrote:Sounds like Morrisons is about as good of an employer as Wal-MArt.
