Phil,
what export formats do you think of?
ASC is no problem with Excels export functions.
HTML is possible via the Web Publish function, but the exported HTML files are (wonder why?) very Microsoftish and very large. I have defined print areas for all useful sheets, so if you just publish those you can get an working but clumpsy webpage for your league. Exporting a single team sheet is quite easy though and the results are acceptable.
Copy+Pasting the table to frontpage (
) gives something like a raw table format.
Cheers,
Tim.

the export code wouldn't be too tough to do, but i can't imagine finding the free time in my already overwhelming schedule to sort out the regular experssions needed to handle an import feature... didn't milo threaten to share his teamtracker with someone who wanted to carry on the design? perhaps these two could be merged by a cunning coder?

Actually I have 3 spreadsheets each unique for my 3 leagues.
And it is VERY EASY to import rosters. But very difficult to export them out of Excel because of the crappy xml and all the bloat that MS adds.
Here is what I do, I use the tool to update the roster, any money changes, player adds etc... I use the tool. I export the roster and upload it to my site. Then my Excel spreadsheet uses the data import function to link to that data on the Web, hence my spreadsheet updates from the web using a macro. I then have a sheet that is for game reports where I enter gate info, win/loss, cas's etc. That sheet is the ONLY place I ever input info, everything else is a macro. The macros update the league leaders, standings, etc.
Eventually I hope to be able to completely automate it by bringing in the pbemstat.log as well and pulling all the stats from that. I have a seperate spreadsheet that does this now...but need to work on tieing the two together.
The problem is that none of these are general enough to be used by anyone (except the stat one), they are tailored specifically to the REBBL, REBBL challenge league, and the skaven league. I am currently working on a 32 team version for the TRUBBL.

Its easy to add any unofficial teams. Once Tim said "variables" and pointed out that some of the columns are hidden, I pulled a "Doh!" Homer style.
You only really need *decent* knowledge of Excel, because the formulas are already written. If you know how to backtrack to find the root problem, you should have no problems.
This is a great tool btw
