I have 2 large ones from working in a steel mill, 2 on my head from a bar fight and a White Zombie show, and one on my palm from falling off a barb wire fence and stupidly trying to catch myself. (the one on my palm is small and fading but i had to toss it in to win! )

As for the fur well, I have hair everywhere except my palms (surprisingly) and the bottom of my feet. When I was younger I would sign my drawings with E-ROK and my friends started calling me E-WOK...

I'm guessing the lack of hair isn't from holding a paintbrush! :o

Okay you win, my wife referrs to me as a teddy bear, but the feet and hands thing convince me you win.

As for the scars ... I'll admit defeat there as well ... thought I could win that one ... I'd win but the scars from my kidney surgery are so faded now so I didn't/don't count them ... which would have been 4 extra (drat) ... (malpractice case ... doctor cut me 3 times before he admitted he couldn't before the procedure and let another doctor preform a 4th cut to finish the operation). My side looked like a cross-stich pattern. The hospital didn't waste anytime offering the procedurce for no charge.

Okay now that Pariah and I hijacked the thread we better give it back ...

i have a cool little scar on the palm of my right hand from the time i was sculpting a mini on a lunch break at work and someone startled me... now, i was working with a double-ended dental tool at the time, and when i jumped, one end of the tool hit the edge of my desk, teh other went... oh, about three-fourths an inch into my hand at a pretty steep angle, right through all the skin layers and into the oogy stuff in the middle.... so, i just sat there looking at it for a minute like, "uh oh, this can't be good" and then proceeded to slowly pull the thing out.... weird part is that there was almost no bleeding at all, apparently there aren't a lot of blood vessels in the middle of the hand, or at least, i missed them, so all i got a little capilary spotting and a hell of an ache for a few days...

utterly irrelevant, but i'm in a sharing mood...

Did anyone else's hand hurt just reading that ... if you've done any major conversion work I think you understand.

When I first got into conversion and painting minis. My teacher for such things told me a quote I've not forgetten to this day:
There are two types of mini conversion folks. Those who have cut themselves with the Exacto knife and those that will.
Two worst modeling accidents so far for me:

Exacto knife rolls off of bench and lands up right in my leg (whoever made these perfectly round in the handle should be shot).

Was supergluing a very large joint and didn't realize the glue had traveled down my entire hand past the wrist. Hit the mini with a spray of zipkicker and then realized that my entire hand and wrist was doing my own private version of chemical burn as I superglued 13 inches of skin. (if you've used zipkicker this will make sense otherwise not a prayer of understanding).

Galak

Again apologies to Cyberhare for threadjaking ... BTW very cool issue. I'm going to try and release a Bridge Bowl jpg for use with the PBeM program. (try to get a little more on subject)

So Roy, are you the one who farted or was it your opponent?

And Galak, I am one of the ones who has...there's a spot on my left thumb that just doesn't bleed any more. :-? Cut away from my body? You have no control that way? All good conversions are sanctified with blood!
