Hi Pariah and all,
>WoW! Can't say I'm ok with that! Your prices are a liitle off.
>The cunnin' git should be around 90K or 100K.
Why? Cunnin git has 1 skill. Clevva has to, and was priced at 90K.
OK, I work from the assumption that a 8337 player is 60K (skaven liner +10).
I also charge around 15K for each skill (10 for the worst, 20K for the best). I know that Jervis' infamous formula charged 20K per skill, but the official players that actually pay this are very few and far between.
>This player has nearly a no fail skill and decent ST and AG WITH the abilty to get Block and Dodge!
I wouldn't charge anything for access to block and dodge.
If the players had either block or dodge from the start, then maybe.
But using 2 skill slots to get block and dodge isn't that special for a position player.
Heck - all 3 elf skills get that on everybody - even the linemen - for free.
>80K is too low! Also it's too similar to the Clevva Git. Try this...
OK, I do like your version of the cunnin git. Also removing sure hands would make them slightly less reliable, and that also sounds very sensible to me
I like the sneaky gits to stay the way they were (step + dodge), because that will make them nasty dagger players, and it emulates their warhammer ability to get behind their opponent.
I mean - they are 'back'stabbers

(At 90K - they'd be ghouls paying 20K for sidestep - OK, and definately not underpriced).
With the black orcs, that would be:
0-12 40K hobgoblins 6337 - ; G
0-4 90K Cunnin' gits 8337 shadowing, strip ball; G, AG
0-2 90K Sneaky gits 7337 dodge, sidestep; G, AG
0-2 80K Black orcs 4429 - ; G, ST
70K Rerolls.
The black orcs could also be replaced with hobgoblins with dirty player skill, but I do prefer putting a little strength in the team, and I don't really like dirty player skill that much.

Hi Skummy

- thanks. It was certainly well recieved by coaches here.
As for diving tackle, sidestep abuse - I don't think that it is particularly abusive. If it was, the skill should be fixed.
IMO, you would need block and dodge to really pull it off, and a 4 skill combo should be useful

I'm actually not looking for an underdog.

I'm looking for something "not in the top 5", and I think that the team fits the bill.
Real underdogs never get any on-pitch-action, so I prefer a team that will get played.
>If you want a hobgoblin team that is a little sub par then I would suggest...
[snip]
I don't think that providing the team with PA skills will weaken it.
Also, the trolls are (IMO) better than black orcs - (and would be at least as disruptive to team practice).
I think that 2 trolls is intruding a bit on goblin territory.
But, as stated, I like your cunnin' git, and I'd be willing to tweak the prices.

Martin
