It was/still is a multipurpose converted old barn I believe? It has a very large area for gaming with many dozen 6x4 foot textured boards set up with scenery provided. There is a large bar area, it has in house catering, and also features a fairly large store. I'll not comment on what I think of the business or owner and I'd get into trouble...

@Dixon - Sorry. Misunderstood, thought you meant what this issue with Maelstrom was.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

There is a pub here that does Gamer Sunday with board games, ps3/xbox on the big screens with tourneys. It is a regular pub Mon-Sat
If you want to go with a gamer bar maybe start with a coffee shop, there will be much less to organize from a license perspective. From there grow to a larger space with a larger menu and alcohol(if that is the final goal)

I think this sounds like something that would only confuse customers. One week you have coffee on the menu and then suddenly beer and whatnot. You'll need a somewhat clear offering right away and only make changes if it doesn't work out.DixonCider wrote:[If you want to go with a gamer bar maybe start with a coffee shop, there will be much less to organize from a license perspective.
