I also think Ogres are more hybrid than Bash, I kind of see them as unreliable lizardmen. Strong saurus with bonehead and really inferior, weak slow unarmoured skinks.

Absolutely agree. I've played multiple league seasons as Lizards and Ogres and your strong guys are there to roadblock and protect your slippery little guys far more than they are there to pummel and kill the opposition (and without starting / basic access to skills like Block, you can't really hope to win a bash game against many of the teams, unless maybe you're in Match-Making online games and have stacked your team's TV Development as such).


Also not sure I understand the motivation behind having an even number of 8 Bash, 8 Hybrid, and 8 Dash teams. Isn't it possible that some categories will have more and some will have less?

Of course.

I am using this as a guideline for a league idea. Teams will not necessarily get sorted by categorical absolutes. Say I have 3 undead teams...I may need to put one of them in a separate pool. Since they are a team that many people are waffling on, they are easier to move back and forth than, say, orcs.

People's opinons on the teams are helpful. My motivation is to have an easily acceptable sorting criteria.

I don't think its possible to put the teams in 3 equal brackets as I think there are far fewer pure dash teams than there are bash and hybrid. I'd say theres only maybe 3 'pure' dash teams (pro elf, wood elves, skaven) with maybe 2 that are closer to dash than hybrid (high elves and dark elves). Maybe slaan would have a case for being a dash team too as they are more about stealing the ball and scoring than bashing.

It's not trolling, it's pointing out that you're trying to do something that isn't possible given the self-imposed limits you've set. I, or anyone else, can give you our opinions, but with your 8/8/8 limit, you're not going to a correct, or consistent answer. For example, I'd argue for Lizards to be in hybrid. Others have said dash and bash.

But sure, see someone that disagrees with you as trolling.

I didn't ask for approval or for anyone to vet the system I am cooking up, I asked for help with a specific thing. Your telling me to go do something else because what I am trying to do sucks/won't work/whatever is trolling IMO.

Feel free to answer the question that was asked as best you can, though.

EDIT: And it really doesn't matter at this point. I have gathered enough information anyways.
