Many years ago I sold 3rd edition Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf teams (I regretted it, though ).
All unpainted (I'm a lazy guy ), I have some 3rd edition Star Players as well.

I don't collect teams. I collect assorted boxes of plastic heads, arms, legs, torsos, bases and miscellaneous other accoutrements that aspire to become teams at an unspecified later date.

And still, I buy. I've recently committed some US$300 to the reaper and dreadball kickstarter campaigns, meaning I'll net several hundred more miniatures for my catacomb of perfectly cauterised ploestyrene limbs over the next 12 months. Only this morning I was hovering over at impact, trying to work out whether I plan to get Willy's Tomb Guardians or Apes of Wrath next (the answer is of course, tragically but all too predictably, both).

After hearing some of your numbers I'm feeling much better about my 14. When I first got into Blood Bowl back in 2003 my brother in law told me that it wouldn't cost me much money because I only needed to get one team. He didn't know me well enough to realize what a completist I am. I also thought I was the only one who struggled to get his teams painted but apparently it's more common than I thought. Props to Plasmoid for having all 27 teams painted. I hope to be there someday.

I have all 24 races with fully painted squads, plus an alternative fully painted squad for Skaven, Lizardman, Dwarf and Humans added to which are my minotaur team (unofficial I know but what a fun team to play!) also painted. Sundry star players, 8 Deathrollers, cheerleaders, apothecaries, wizards, 11 pitches, some dugouts etc, etc

I still have a lead mountain to work through though!

Despite having more teams then fingers (and FYI, so far I dont miss any finger), I'm now consider myself a completely normal and sane person.

Unfortunately, not as much as I would like. I used to paint-for-hire to pay for more teams (sigh). Here is what "I" have painted for personal use...

Ask me again after I've had a chance to sit down with the Reaper Kickstarter order in front of me. Right now, it's 7 with an unassembled Impact-purchased Roman theme to be human team. After the Reaper minis come in, though.... I bought 3 sets of the "Deep Dwellers" to use for some kind of cool and different team.

I have 13 teams in various states, with only 4 actually painted and finished (Humans, Slann, Wood Elves & Necromantic). I've got 5 teams which are part painted and the remainder are anything from unassembled through to basecoated.
