If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

I'll be back... My Dwarves may have plumetted from almost a 200 ranking to almost 150 in two bad majors but I'm not leaving it like that. The Gittsburgh Griefers will rise again!

And I can now 100% confirm that the Double Skulls Podcast is receiving a review copy of the new boxed set and will be involved in a few events based around the release of the new boxed set.

Size comparison shot I got someone to post on facebook from a review copy of BB that went out. The new minis are obviously bigger, but it doesn’t look like they are massively bigger.

Not the best size comparison. I showed it the wifelet and she thought the ones at the front were bigger.

A good size comparison will have multiple angles and may a millimetre scale ruler next to them.

edit: front not back.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

A side by side shot would be much better, but I think these help to get a general idea of size.

BoLs seem to be improving a bit with their BB coverage.

Best and most complete pics of the new kits I have seen including the spruces and how they fit together.

Have to say I am a little disappointed in the human blitzers, the sole difference between them and the linos seems to be having a raised crest. I like tke Orcs better but they do go together strangely. Wish they could have made them modular and that way it would be easy to get variety by swapping parts or use them with kit-bashing from the 40K and AoS range.

nice pics in that article. this is the first thing i have seen that i could clearly see 3 different poses on the linemen. looking forward to seeing what the options are for team booster packs.

I like the Orcs, although they look a bit too much like 40k Orcs to me. I also like the general design of the Humans, but don't care for how similar they all look, both in uniform and poses. This the the first time in all the previews I was able to see which one was the Blitzer for instance, and that is only because they had him labeled. Some extra spikes for the Blitzer or maybe fewer weapons for the regular Linemen would have gone a long way to giving them a visual disparity.

I like having full 16+ player teams and the idea of having so many duplicate miniatures makes me glad I decided to hang onto my 5th Ed GW Humans. Although if they do booster packs with different options for the miniatures I think it would be a good thing. I'll probably leave both the Orcs and Humans on their sprues until some news of said boosters comes to light.

I wouldn't want more spikes on the blitzers, personally. I would say lose all spikes and the punch dagger Fiesta from the linemen. That's just me though. I felt like they went spike/punch dagger crazy with these minis... much like 5th ed.
