If there is one truth, I would say it's this sentence!
Played a lot of volley-ball between the age of 15 and 20. The worst season enjoyment-wise but also result-wise probably we had with our team was when we weren't agreeing on why we played the game; for the social gathering aspect, for competitive results or a mixture of both. It ruined the enjoyment for ALL players...

I think the key point here is that it's a pick up game because I will still use a full load of tactics against a rookie if the match counts for something (i.e. - League or Tournament).
