I have been seeing these "low profile bases" and I quite dig them.
It may be the pain meds talking, but I have been thinking of re basing my collection with them.
Anyone else like them?

Re: LOW PROFILE BASES
I use 2mm MDF bases for a lot of things and yes, they're great.
Normally for BB models I use slottas so I can glue magnets inside them for magnetic balls to stick to, but my next team uses 2mm MDF for practical reasons: the stances of the models is quite wide and you get more surface area on MDF bases, and I've opted for 30mm diameter as a nod to the new style larger bases but to be able to fit on a 'normal' pitch.
Not sure it's worth going through the ballache of rebasing everything, but yes, I agree that they look good.
