DNA

Post by Smeborg »

Hey, Dave -

You might be onto something with the DNA thing.

I started playing BB 4 years ago, when my son (then aged 12) bought the game. I would beat him about 5 games out of 6.

Now he's 16 and beats me about 3 games out of 5!

Scary, isn't it?

Cheers

1. Good game planning

2. Adaptability

3. Skill selection

(And colored base rings help.)

Yes, and it would be even more scary if my son (allmost 4 months) would beat me at BB in four years.

My daughter started beating me WITH BB mini's.

Is that the same ??

I think a certain singer said it best when trying to figure out who makes a good coach

" you got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away know when to run........" :D

To be a Good Koach, you must...

1) Laugh at the face of danger (you might need some beer for that)
2) Jump Up And Down on Wood Elves (it's even more fun when you've had some beer)
3) Put that small, round, leathery spiky thing in your opponent's End Zone as often as you can (I'm having trouble with no. 3, even after some beer...)

Unless you're playing elves, and from #2 i doubt you are, #3 is no more true than #1 and #2.

The only important thing is to score more than your opponent. For some teams, it means scoring as seldom as possible, cf dwarf bowl.

You're jolly right on that one, Sherlock! ;)

Anyway... I'm happy enough just to score... Scoring more often than my opponent is the next thing to learn
