Valkyries and other questions......

Post by tommy316 »

I've been out of the loop for a couple months (and things around here seem to have picked up a ton!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!)

So hopefully I can get caught up on everything... soon!

But, can some of you that are up to speed, answer a couple questions:

1.) Has anybody used a Valkyrie team??? (I came up with the concept and haven't gotten a chance to test them- new job, new house, new baby= no BB fun)

2.) What happened to the Brett team- simply history now????

3.) is the NAF site worth signing up for??? I'll probably do it anyways, but just wanted to hear what others have to say about it.

4.) ANYBODY OUT THERE IN THE OMAHA AREA?????

That's it for now, keep bashing

JT

Heh welcome back and yer NAF rocks.

Don't think there are any rules for the valks anywhere and the brett teams is just house rules and i don't even know them ;]

I am sure someone with a clue will answer shortly.

Go to Galak's website (www.midgardbb.com) and there are the Valkyries rules.

The Packers? Boy you have been out the loop... :P

The NAF? lol....I'm biased...but with 6 tournies entered the rankings have some real shape going into the BB...(I know who I'm gunning for!)...it's sure gonna be fascinating afterwards...
There's pretty much access everywhere on the site (apart from the forums) to non-members, check it out.

And welcome back and congrats on the new baby. :D

James,
I have been playing with the Valkyries in one of the PBeM leagues (WBBL). So far (4 games) they are looking like a good balanced team, maybe verging on slightly difficult to play with which is a good sign. The warcry skill is certainly useful, but is limited in it's uses, and makes for some interesting tactics. I have been suffering a bit on the casualties side, but not enough to dissable the team.

And as it turns out I have been playing the Bretonnian team in another of the PBeM leagues (MBBL) :)
I like the Brets. A good mixture of a bit of strength and human versatility. That and I am partial the the Bretonnians in Warhammer as well so I just enjoy the feel of the team. I have yet to buy a White Knight, but I am sure he will have a big impact - st 5 double blitz stand firm.... nice.

Nice to hear about the Valk's. Warcry was a bit of a concern at conception. Hopefully I'll get to play a game or two with them soon.

ALSO; Is the NAF memebership a 1 year deal or is it good for life?????
