This is in one of the 2nd edition BB hardcovers:
Chaos Dwarf teams use the same rosters as Dwarves
"and may include Chaos Dwarf Firethrowers if the Coach wishes"
However, I've never been able to find rules for Chaos Dwarf Firethrowers in BB in any rulebook, Citadel Journal, or White Dwarf .... was it just a typo or a cut and paste from a WFB source that someone forgot?

I do remember playing some friends at 2e mega dungeon-bowl and he had a 'firethrower', I honestly don't remember the rules or anything about it (not even the mini he used). I'm sure he said they were in a white dwarf, but if Galak can't find it then I'm likely mistaken..
Either that or they had made up rules for them...

We made up rules for a flamethrower in second edition, available for Dwarves, C Dwarves and Skaven.
It went something like 8+ on 2d6 to light (on a 2 explodes injuring the player and destroying the weapon).
Once lit can be fired by rolling for a pass with the firing players Passing(?) less the 'recievers' CL. On a really bad roll it fired in the direction of the scatter template, hitting the first player in line.
If the player attempted to light or fire the weapon then he could not move.
I don't remeber what happened to a player who was hit but it was fairly damaging, may have been a straight injury roll.
These weapons proved to be popular a very chaotic but not particularly effective, and players carrying them often got hammered before they managed to light the things

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
