Macho Elf!!

Post by roysorlie »

YEAAAAAHHH!!! I got a Strength increase!!!!!!! HURRAH FOR MEEEEEEEE!!

I am now the proud coach of a 6 4 4 8 Block High Elf lineman.

I think that must be my first st increase ever, or maybe, maybe the second. To think, I've played this game for close to 8 years, and it finally happened to me to.

Come to think, he's actually my big guy now..

Hope the opposition finds him harmless, and leaves him alone, for the most part. (at least till i get dodge and sidestep, and migthy blow, and regenerate and.... huh? What? Wwddaya mean I can't get regenerate?? Oh buggers)

My MBBL2 high elf team has managed to get two ST increases... I have a line-elf with ST4 but no other skills (can't seem to get the CASs).

I've also just had a ST increase on a Dragon Warrior:

7/4/5/9 Block, AG+1, ST+1, Magic Helmet. 8)

Yep, next skill is Dodge, then probably Leap, though the MBBL2 has some other neat skills (like Stiff Arm) that might be appropriate.

It helps that I've got some other decent players on this team so this particular one might not be so big a target, for example:

Dragon Warrior 7/3/4/8 Block, Dauntless, Mighty Blow.
Lion Warrior 9/3/4/7 Catch, Nerves of Steel, MA+1.
Lion Warrior 8/3/4/8 Catch, Dodge, Shadowing, Magic Helmet.

(Dauntless is a skill, not a trait, in the MBBL2... hurray!!!!)

Hehehe. Now, I know what you're thinking.
The truth is, I've probably had somewhere near 20 teams with more than 400 TR. I played at least 3 matches a week from between 95 - 99. After that I went to military academy. I started playing again in 2001. Somewhere between 4-10 matches a month. And the later half of 2002 till now, at least 3 games a week again.

So, I've had plenty of teams, plenty of years, I'm a veteran.
Yet true as toasted toads, this is my second ST increase, EVER.

But boy Oh boy do I get alot of MA increases, usually on a 4+6. This team must be the first team in ages i Haven't had a 1 turn scorer. Even my last High Elf team had that. (2 MA increases LW)

Did i forget to mention my crappy dice rolling? Think they are responsible for my keenly developed sense of tactics ;) *lol*

You know, I'm not too afraid of that, think they'd much rather foul my jump up, dauntless, block Lion Warrior. (which I'm not too happy about btw)

Of course, the same match, I rolled a 1 for winnings, and guess what? A 1 on Fan Factor. But I won 5-1, so it's ok. Never seem to be able get that FF up though. The last 5 matches I've won, 3 of those matches, I lost a FF on of them I gained one. You'd think my fans really are there to see me lose, and don't think it's any fun when I score alot of TD og hand out a few Cas'es.

Well I have a line elf with

6 4 5 8 +1 AG, +1 ST

He is my passer, safety etc - but I try to keep him out of harms way if possible - not too far away from my next skill...... damn those aging rolls...

A couple of weeks ago I was complaining that I was never lucky with skill rolls. Now I have a ST 5 Catcher in my High Elf team.

Who says complaining does not help :D

By the way, our skill rolls are always made with witnesses and we do not have any private dice.

mctom, coach of a High Elf team with a ST 5 catcher.
