Talent.

Talent is something you can buy on you new players each talent costs 10k (unless you are starting a brand new team, then it costs 5k)
one talent is treated as a spp. What do you think?

so you are spending some 'talents' around, to make sure you'll get a skill roll after a match mvp is awarded ...

Great way to reduce TR and spend extra cash for teams that tend to get too much money after a while (Undead, Amazon, Dwarfs come to mind)
Otherwise it seems like a fun house-rule

The whole point is to make your team more charaeristic (probably spelled that wrong).

150k for an Ogre with Block, sounds good too me
Or 200k for one with block and pile on

there are other ways to making a team more caracterfull. The player has to earn experience, this would be to easy

In a team (in real life) there are many characters even when the team is new. We just want to have the option to make players different from the beginning.
As to the ogre post: we also play with big guys as slow learners so they'll need more talent to get skills.

I suggest maybe a random table, for such things. Or you can write a history for each player.
table suggestion (20k for throw):
2-3 2spp
4-11 random skill?sure hands, sure feet, etc..
12 +1 movement or AV
only for lineman

Maybe
2 = 1 SPP
3-8 = 2 SPP's
9-11= Random Skill
12 = +1 MA/AV

15k for the possibility of either a skill or av/m+ is way too little! The point isn't allways to tune a team to heaven before the league even starts, but to make some players a little better.
