What do you guys think of awarding SPPs for casualties caused by the use of Diving Tackle?
In our league we play that DT must be used before the Dodge roll, and we award cas SPPs if applicable. It's never happened yet, but I like the idea of it; and I don't see any huge balance issues.
What do you guys think?

We use a homemade strength-skill called rough tackle, which is quite popular.
It goes like this:
Rough Tackle (Rtkl): Add +2 to any armor roll made, whenever an opposing player fails a dodge leaving a square in this players tacklezone. The rough tackle player is allowed to treat such a failed dodge as a block, for the purpose of gaining spp's or using skills that modify armor or injury rolls. This means that the player might potentially use piling on, IF the tackled player falls over in a square adjacent to the tackler. (Note that Rough Tackle does not allow a player to use more than one skill-modifier on the armor roll! It's the +2 from Rough Tackle OR something else).
Furthermore - any opposing player leaving a square in a 'rough tacklers' tackle zone, must pay an extra point of movement for each 'rough tackle zone' exerted on the square that he is leaving
The popular part of this skill is the movementpenalty.
The rest is just added bonus.
I have had this skill on 2 dwarfs with tackle and mighty blow for 30+ games and it only gave me 2 SPP in total.
What i am saying is that you migth end up making a rule that never will be used.

"Rough Tackle" is an interesting idea. Is it a strength or general skill? I'd expect strength, and the game needs more of those. Plus, it would be a little too strong if you could get a diving tackle player with Rough tackle very easily.

It is a strengtskill.
It is a very useful skill, since tackle will only get you so far.
It slows down the opponent and forces them to run around you rather than dodge past you, increasing the number of go-for-its.
Beyond tackle you will normally need a double on your skill roll on a strengthteam if you want to annoy fast dodging teams (tail, diving tackle, tentackle).
