I'm bored at work and came up with a zany new star player for the Brettonians:
Vorpal Rabbit 150K 6139 titchy, dodge, sidestep, dauntless, frenzy, fangs (claw), razor sharp fangs, thick skull, jump up, non-ballhandler
Yeah, yeah, too many skills
But think of the laughs...

Thadrin had a cool, plush toy Avatar of this guy. Fangs didn't look Razor Sharp though.
With ST1 I don't mind all the Skills. You sure he shouldn't be WA too?!? I like him but I'd make it a Kickoff result, say Throw a Rock. If an 11 is rolled, this guy has followed the Brettonian team to the game and proceeds to go to town. Moves like a Fanatic. Will attck anyone but won't leave till he tastes Brettonian blood (succeeds in knocking over a Bret) or he gets knocked over himself.
Might be fun if he stays around and comes to between turns.

Might work better as a regional Kick off table result, or possibly something for a "Bizarre events" table (double 1 on armour roll => roll for a bizarre event. Working on the idea.)

Keep working. I hate the cards but I do like some of the zaniness of them. Keep "Bizarre Events" from bieng to game breaking,maybe have them potentially affect both teams at the same time and I think it could go a long way toward putting some of the fun and randomness back in the game. Do you wanna post what you've got? I'd love to help you with it. If you want you can e-mail me and we'll see what we can come up with offline before you post it here.
