=====================

I'm now happy to confirm that I have found a suitable venue, so Carnage II will be a definite this year!

I will post more solid details soon, but in summary you can expect:
  • ImageCapacity up to 70 people - we're hoping for twice as many as last year!
Image Limited edition free gift given to EVERY competitor (in association with House-Rulez)
Image Loads of prizes for all the usual awards + many more!
Image On-site refreshments (and potentially sandwiches - tbc)
Image Easy to get to from within the UK and abroad
    Image Subsidised local accomodation (tbc)
Costs are TBC too, but should be in the region of £25 for non-NAF, with a suitable NAF discount. I'm also working on a referral bonus for returning members.

I'm taking names for a pre-registration list and will attempt to maintain it here and on TBB. Email or PM to reserve your place now!

OK, more definite info for you....

After doing my sums, the ticket prices will be £25 for non-NAF and £22 for NAF. Also, if you attended the tournament last year and you bring someone who didn't come last year along this year then you BOTH get £2 off your ticket price. There is no limit to the number of people a returning player can refer.

For example, Alex came to last year's event and invites Bob, Charlie and Dan this year. Bob and Dan are NAF members, but Alex and Charlie aren't.

Alex pays £25 - £6 for 3 referrals = £19 for his ticket.
Bob and Dan pay £22 - £2 = £20 each
Dan pays £25 - £2 = £23

Hopefully that won't be too confusing ;)

There WILL be another exclusive free gift this year, although it'll be a surprise like last yeat :)

I'm trying to negotiate subsidised accomodation in a local hostel, more on that as I get a response. There are plenty of B&Bs around though, and there should be some fairly cheap ones too.

Expect to see a tournament pack posted sometime next week.

Hi Indigo,

London being a bit of a big place and all, any chance of letting us know the locale? i.e. Centre, Enfield, etc, etc ( central and Enfield being the only two places in London I know)

Who wants to invite me and save £2 then

Seriously considering it, very close to birthday though and that might mean I'd have to consume vast amounts of alcohol and I do hate doing that... :-?

It's at Birkbeck College, really close to Euston station and handy for four different tube stations. A doddle to get to.
Do a search on http://www.multimap.com for the postcode WC1E 7HX.

It's now looking almost certain that I will be able to offer subsidised cheap hostel accomodation extremely close to the venue for those travelling a long way to the event. Keep checking back for more info ;)

Hmmm

I get back from Canada (Spike!) at 04.10 on the Friday - I may be able to make this; mad fool that I am.

I have a Cthulhu LARP event that may clash with this, so will have to let you know ... soon.
