:D I like it. That's the team I just started with and its worked well for me so far. Buy the apoth and then blitzers & thrower.

Ogre - Block & Pro. Leader on Doubles.

Blitzers - 2 with Tackle 1st, then Guard. Others take Guard 1st.

Catchers - Block 1st. Dauntless on doubles. Sidestep is the normal 2nd skill.

Thrower(s) - Accurate & Sure Hands. Maybe make one a runner with Block & Dodge.

Linemen - convention says Kick on 1, Dirty Player on 1 or 2 and Block on the rest.

Human teams have always been successfull in our leagues, especially when they have four blitzers. Try to get those ASAP if you can.

don't get into a blocking war and use your greater speed to move around them and pass

stay out of his way, run rings around him. block him when he moves adjacent to you.
Do a search on tactics in the tactics and team development area

Ian,

Mistake me if I am wrong (I am sure you will) but don't Human Throwers already start with Sure Hands?

remember if he gets an Ogre and a Goblin to trash the goblin at your first oppurtunity - the threat of a Throw Team Mate (TTM) always freaks me out and makes me play unnecessarily defensive.

bollocks, just set myelf up for any future tournaments
