Is anyone from the UK going or have been before, how do you get there, drive or train?
Looks interesting, not 100% sure yet but would like to come

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

Re: Turncoat - march 25th-26th - 24h event with team swap!!!
I don't know if anyone else from UK is coming. There were some interests from the people near Dover.
It is really not far from Calais or Oostende. People coming to Brassbowl (Oostende) normally go by car and ferry.
If you choose to come by train. There is a direct connection between Brussels and Aalter where I would be able to pick you up.
If you can fill a car it would be cheaper to drive so gather some coaches!!!
You can stay for sleepover at saturday night so you can travel on sunday.

How do scoring and matching work?

Re: Turncoat - march 25th-26th - 24h event with team swap!!!
Scoring is
5 points for big win with more then 1 TD difference.
4 points for small win with 1 TD difference.
2 points for a draw.
1 point for small loss
0 points for big loss
Matching is like normal Swiss draw system.

Will this be 2 completely separate tourneys where MAX participants only play other MAX participants - or will MAX and MIN participants be able to play each other in round 7-10?

Indeed. Two seperate tournaments. It would not be fair for those already playing 14 hours to have to play against some people who had a whole night of sweet dreams.
Subscriptions are coming in but there is still plenty of room to host some more coaches so ... If you already coming, convince some of your coaches to join this wacky tournament!!
BTW, there is also a side-event Dreadball during the Saturday.
