That tax perspective is fascinating (but only the theoretical level as Heff rightly points out). Finland recently added a new sin tax to sweets so there was a scramble to start selling more "sweets" as "biscuits". However, after having a quick look at the definition of "sweet" in the new tax, it looks pretty cleverly designed. But that's hard to say without considering it in individual cases.

Furthermore, as we're on the subject of Finland, you can't find Kit Kats anymore in normal shops in Finland which is pretty amazing. I'm certain that's due to the monopolistic tendencies of the secret cabal of shopkeepers and local confectioneers. Someone should've already alerted the competition authorities but they're probably getting paid to stay quiet by that cabal.

Does anyone know whether anyone sells Kit Kats online and ships all over EU?

They don't look disgusting...they look dry. I think we ought to Americanize them a bit more with some extra saturated fat and a load of trans fat by some how wrapping them in cake, filling them with a butter cream, and then covering them in chocolate. Turn them into a Jammy Dodger Ding Dong. That's even got a nice ring to it.

I think it's wrong though - there's no way a Jaffa Cake counts as a biscuit. It doesn't count as a cake either though so I'm quite unsure about it's true classification.

Hmmm. Having to opt for one of chocolate digestives, chocolate hobnobs, or bourbon creams. Probably the bourbons edge it. All 3 get eaten like a bag of crisps when I open them.

Having barely skimmed the thread and noticed some discourse on jaffa cakes, they are in fact a cake, even if they are in the biscuit aisle. You can tell because they go hard when they are stale, where biscuits go soft. If this has already been mentioned, please ignore my repeat of such trivial banality.
