Thanks to Simon for organising a great event, deserved to have more support, but seven teams, 28 players not bad for a first effort.

Thanks to all my opponents and apologies to those who were really on the wrong end of the dice rolls.

Total TD's = 14, one more in the first round would have been nice!

It was excellent - look forward to seeing the full results, the stunty team didn't come last. Woo!
From memory:
First - ECBBL
MVP - McTeague with 4/0/0
Most TDs - Besters (15?)
Best painted - Firebreather
Stunty Cup - Antipixi with 1/2/1
Wooden spoons - ARBBL

Completely agree, excellent event, thanks to the organisers!

Talonbay = MacTaiga (NAF), I'm going to have to get it changed to match my forum name :)

Really good event simon, well worth the trip down even for a one-dayer.

Congrats to the ECBBL on the win, and everyone we played; a cracking time was had!

Here here, Sann!

I’ll spare Joemanji and Purplegoo the full transcript of our conversation on the way up to Albabowl earlier this month.

Suffice to say, the level of overweening arrogance was truly nauseating. They obviously thought an awful lot of themselves, and not very much of the opposition.

It’s the Manchesterunitedness all over again, just without the winning…

So the “first team tournament Waterbowl has entered” didn’t turn out too well. Even Waterbowl’s Flamebowl record looks good compared to this! Maybe try an all-stunty line-up next time?

For the record, this is isn’t trash talk; these are the cold hard facts!

Anyway, don’t worry we won’t mention this ever again. Well not very often… ;-) ;-) ;-)

Good god - even beaten by two of the Wooden Spoon holders (including one that hasn't played in 18 months...).
