I'm working a weekend shift and genuinely have nothing better to do than this.
So I broke down how many of each race were played in all 6 games last weekend.
I may have counted wrong. Maybe someone can check my figures. I can't be arsed.
First number is total teams, second is in the top 100.
Orc 27(13) - So glad I didn't bring them now.
Norse 18(11)
Skaven 15 (9)
Undead 14(11)
Wood Elf 12(9)
Lizardman 12(9)
Human 12(4)
Dark Elf 11(5)
Amazon 10(8)
Dwarf 10(8)
Goblin 7(0)
Necromantic 6(6)
Chaos Dwarf 6(4)
Halfling 6(0)
Pro Elf 5(2)
Ogre 4(0) - note: one of these didn't actually have any Ogres.
Khemri 3(0)
Chaos 2(1)
Slann 2(0)
Pact 1(0)
Vampire, Nurgle, Underworld, High Elf - absent.
I'm declaring myself for Underworld for next year now.

It would be very cool if for next year when people bought their tickets they could declare what teams they were taking, so that those who were interested could take under-represented teams. Probably a Catch-22 though, and some might meta-game too much.

On the day it seemed like there was nothing but Undead. Maybe they just performed the best.

Replace the Werewolves on the Necro roster with Ghouls.
Delete Undead.
Job done.

I also find the lack of High Elves quite interesting, though not surprising. Of the elves, they definitely seem outclassed by Wood Elf, Dark Elf, and Pro Elf. One more point of strength or armor on a few pieces (depending on the comparison) really doesn't make up for starting with 1-2 less skills on each of your positional players (especially in a tournament setting).

In a league setting they are one of the better teams. But in tournaments the lack of starting Dodge is killer. They have won a BB though!

Felt like every team around me was Undead, Norse or orc but then i guess from a distance every necro team would have looked like undead, suprised there were no high elves, i would rather take them than pro elves to a single skill per game tourney. Praise to those who took Khemri must have been a long weekend  .

I played that no ogre ogre team with my norse. Poor guy had a long game, particularly with my pile on beserker...
