St Albans Blood Bowl Cup October 1st & 2nd 2011 Greetings Blood Bowl coaches! Bsking and Wilf proudly present the first ever Blood Bowl tournament in St Albans! The inaugural tournament will feature a tie-in with the popular CAMRA Beer Festival held in St Albans and all participants will receive entry to the festival along with a couple of drinks to get you going on the Saturday evening. This will be a staggered TV tournament using the CRP rules. The tournament details and rules are included in the attached pdf. Any queries, drop me an email on the address at the bottom. Look forward to seeing you there! Attachment: STABB Cup.pdf UPDATE: Payment details have now been finalised. Cost is £15 for NAF, £20 for non-NAF (to include membership). Paypal address - Stabb.cup@gmail.com - is included in the rules pack, please make sure to include real name, NAF name, NAF number, and whether you want to go to the beer festival or not. ** Check out the painted Underworld team waiting for the winner, on pg 5 (as I'm not clever enough to post pic in this post!) **Cheers Wil and Dave NB - for those coaches paying after September 22nd. We've had to purchase beer festival tickets in advance, so although we have bought a load of them and we'll try our hardest to accommodate you, we can't guarantee we will be able to secure your queue jump entry after this date. Apologies, it's just a logistical thing, hopefully we should have enough tickets for those who want to go. How does the D6 skill choice thing work? Only 1 of 6 players can get it? Slightly confused by that. Interested though

Urff. Sorry first stab (pun) at rules pack, will clarify it all shortly.
So you give your team 6 skills. Say you are dwarfs, you pick 2 guard on blitzers, 2 mighty blow on slayers, 2 block on runners. You number all six from 1 to 6.
Then before round 1, I roll a d6 and say get a 3. Everyone's player who they assigned the number 3 skills gets that skill for that round and the rest of the tournament. That way, you never know what you'll get each round.
Hope that clears it up.

Ok, points for each round has changed.
It is now 12 for a win, 6 for a draw, 0 for a loss. +3 max for cas and TD, and +1 if you lose by just 1 TD.
Sorry about that.
Maximum number of coaches is looking like 30 at the moment.

I'll hopefully be able to get there - depending on whether I'm ever allowed out again (the small matter of going to NAF championships on my wedding anniversary will not be forgotten lightly ). Would be travelling both days so not going to the beer festival though
