I can now announce the attendance of team waterbowl. I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from coming, you’ll still have fun.
Is there any news on how the pairings will be made? I understand if just plain swiss is easier, but from flamebowl experiences having the teams all line up together against other teams (i.e. swiss for teams, then swiss within teams) creates a great atmosphere.

Although I liked the idea of all four players from one team taking on another team each round there are a few issues with this type of format and it looks like I'm going to go for a simple swiss pairing. Agree that Swiss teams rather than individuals is a lot more fun.

The rules pack should be out at the end of this week, I will be running it by the Spiky lot on Thursday and then get it up on the Website as soon as our Admin can manage.
I hope to be able to run the tournament as a Team/Swiss event but in order to do this we need an even number of teams and everyone to turn up. I am currently considering limiting the tournament to a maximum of 40 which should give the best chance of an even number of teams without turning a lot of people away. Please feel free to share your thoughts on Team/Swiss and limiting numbers.

Am now trying to rally the Swindon team. On the off-chance that I fail, any teams short of a player?

If they are still going, the chatter on my site appears to be very quite on the subject on the moment...... Talk to Blood Bowl Nut (here or on my board), he was sorting this one for us.

What is wrong with the lamers Mike? Like there is a limit on the number of tournaments a person can attend! Team Waterbowl is definitely coming, we'll pay up soon.

There's no limit to the number of tourneys I'd like to attend, but there's a financial limit on the number that I can afford to attend.

I couldn't seeanything in the rule pack but are there any restrictions on which teams should be taken?
i.e should they all be different, all the same etc?
