Cost will keep me out I think :( The last WC at GW was only £45 wasn't it?

I'll be there too

The price is obviously not deterrent for already more than 100 french coaches who want to come and play... So the main question is to know how many coaches can you host ? I really hope that it will a be a no limit event!! ;)

Of course you will need that many french coaches to retain your title. :P

I was there previously in a meeting and it was more than 150€ for the venue...

A regular tourney takes place usually in friendly public spaces or something like that... That means cheap or for free, but you can't take 300 coaches inside your regular tournament locations... Isn't it? Nor Games Workshop could took they for the first WC in Nottingham...

So, guys, Dave and others are hiring a professional meeting space to perform the biggest BloodBowl tourney ever. I'm not happy to pay 100€ (or even 150) but I can understand the logic behind that... and I have a whole year to save the money and come.

For sure, you will count with our team.

Thank you!

Without looking, I'd always assume Eurostar is the most expensive option. I expect you can get a return flight from Manchester for under £100 without any trouble.

I think carpooling and taking the ferry will be cheaper.

Car and ferry and parking in Amsterdam, 4 passengers, was £60ish each last summer. Approx 300miles.

If you can afford to fly, book early because the tickets are cheaper, £60-£90, flight from gatwick takes 45mins, clear airport, take train (cheaper than uk) your in Amsterdam 6 hours earlier than driving. Enjoy the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :smoking:

Just do it.

I did the coach from London for about £15 return the other year, it was 12 hours getting there and 15 getting back but not a bad ride really.

Another cheapish option is to drive to Harwich, park and then get the ferry to the Hook and train to 'Dam. Shouldn't cost too much and doesn't take that long.
