Hey Thanks, guys
I had the same thoughts on the spawn of chaos/beast of nurgle fig. The spawn of chaos is just not "nurgly" enough, though it is a cool fig IMO. It really wasn't that hard to sculpt the guts and add some goo to the base but I think it really helps separate the beast of nurgle from the spawn of chaos.S.
p.s. I've got some Rotter mutations on the paint block right now and I'll add some pics when they are ready.

Yup, agree with Colin: the photos don't do the shading and hilighting justice. Well earned, though Blam and Punkpogoer have unfortunately raised the Spike painting bar way to high

Resurrection Time. Saw these in another more recent thread. Anyway I am starting a Nurgle Team and was wondering what you used as the warriors. I can not seem to find any that really grabbed me.
PS. This team is awesome and inspiring, might have to have a serious go with the green stuff.

Re: blammahams rotters
Wow made the 4+ Roll! Thanks for all the great comments guys! This team, though a few years old now is still the pride of my collection and I have a great time playing Nurgle too. For anyone who is wondering the Whole team is pretty much converted from a couple of zombie sprues, some sort of 40K marine sprue ( I always for get which one) and a couple of the great chaos mutation sprues as well. The unconverted figs are the Pestigors and the unmutated warriors, which are the warriors from the original team. The warriors are the greenie blue and the rotters are the pinkie red colour, as size wasn't enough to differentiate between the positionals. Also I should mention that this team was made before LRB 5 where there was just the beast, beast men and warriors and no "rotter" position so when I got the other zombie sprue the "warriors" were already sort of locked in and if I did the team over again I might make a different choice of models but the way it worked out I'm still happy with this team.S.
