Not got ticket but need the rules

Post by Darkson »

Not got ticket, but I'm going anyway (will play in the bar if I have to :D ), and I'm hoping to be a reserve if there's any drop outs, so when they are released can someone post the tourney rules here so I can get a team together, just in case.

C'mon, someone must want to post the rules, if only to feel superior to all of those without tickets

Win - 4pts
Draw - 2pts
Lose by 1 TD - 2pts
Lose by more than 1 TD - 1pt
Concede - 0 pt
Paint points 3pts, sportsmanship 3pts, impersonate your favorite TBB personality  1000 pts (to be judged in Bugman's bar)

Format: 1st round is random, suceeding rounds 1st place plays 2nd, 3rd plays 4th, etc. Can't face same opponent more than once.

What else you interested in knowing?

Right, any TBB'ers spend most of their time under the table? If I'm in Bugman's for 2-3 days I can impersonate them accurately. :D

What's the rules for team make-up (for poncy Elves :D ) and make up (for everyone else)? For example, are apoth's acceptable, etc?

LRB rules. Apoth's are allowed although any injuries only count as 'badly hurt'.
Big guy are allowed and so are star players from the latest rules (see LRB)
Only official team (see LRB)
No wizards

I think thats all correct, havent got the rules on me at the mo.
Anything else?

Team composition:
100 TR team
Only the "official teams of the 2002 review" (all the ones in the LRB)
Star players are full price

There is nothing to say you can't have an apothecary, assistant coaches or cheerleaders.

Rest of the packet is about no-no's and tourney points and schedule of events.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, you can have an apothecary. But from the threads I've read it would seem that you should weigh the value of an apothecary against the value of your players.
