The aftermath...

Post by Pipey »

Well done to the winner! With high elves too :o

Bad luck Stick... must be gutted but great effort to make the final. More than very very many have managed.

Thanks to all my opponents. Sorry guys for being a "buzonado" for the whole of day two!

See you all soon
Bren

I had to leave before the awards were handed out - did I miss out on a tourney coin or any other kind of freebie?

Likewise...tounaments are always made better by the people there.

Well done all.

Managed to shake off the 3 game loosing streak from day1 and turn it into a 3 game winning streak! Yay! :smoking:

76th!

Best result yet for a Grand Tounament.

Admittedly it was my first, but lets not go into that!

I enjoyed being able to say I got my BB GT coin.......erm.........maybe not..............

No coin, no small bit of paper...nada

I was there and still missed my coin

Well done to the all the winners and losers... It was 'all round nice guy' Dave W's first tournament, and I thought he took the wooden spoon with great dignity and aplomb. (vid to follow)

My Norsca Raiders didn't quite cut it in the painting award, but they performed excellently on the field 3-2-1... No practice is def the way! 8)

Andrew Wigg (JockMcRowdy from FUMBBL).

His High elf team was, if memory serves 2 Dragon warriors, 1 phoenix warrior, 2 catchers, 6 linemen, 2 Re-rolls and FF1.

skill choices were leader, dodge on a dragon, tackle on a dragon and i think dodge on both catchers. Final score was 3-2

There was a coin? I had no coin. I even asked on the stage and was told there was no coin. So if there was a coin I'm slightly funking annoyed :pissed:

No, there was no coin. In fact there was no action on the part of GW at all.
No coin.
No single figs being sold over the weekend for us.
No Bugmans on Friday night due to Salsa Classes.
No Concessions as we were told.

I saw no coins anywhere :( I'm not too sad about it but I was suprised and it would be a shame I missed them if they were there.

I never see a coin.

I had a great time with the games and that, but i was a bit ticked off with the how expensive this tourney was and they saying there is "added value" which we never seen.

I would rather play the Chaos Cup or Dundegon Bowl next year at least its in a different country and slighty cheaper with the ticket prices

I can see not many players playing next year. Very sad really :(

Oh, right :)

One thing which I did notice which was (I think) different to last year.... the on pitch drinks service was fantastic in the heat :D

Yep, much better than the free water brought to the tables in other years.

Had a great time (with the exception of Tom being in a strop all the time) and forgot how crap GW were when it came to us BB'ers.

Had a great set of games and came out 1 win and 5 loses... Hell, thats good for me!!! :D

Ive decided that my new BB moto is going to be 'winning is for losers' :puke:

Enjoyed the 'Dockbowl' on sat night, must remember next time to take a team that cam swim though

No coin... that was the only reason i went  So they up the price and drop the free coin...makes sence.
