Does he play Warhammer with it ?

More seriously, I also have many teams (around 20). But, according to me, when BB was a game available in GW stores, most of people who bought it just had the basic box game and sometimes one or two other teams. There are always some mad guys (or girls) like you and me who buy almost all the BB minis but, yes, the middle Warhammer player will buy more minis than the middle BB player.

That said, if GW would make a new minis team (for LRB6 slanns for example) I think they would sell it well almost without making any effort (except producing the minis :D ).

Well, to be honest, I don't really care. BB survives thanks to webforums like this one and thanks to all the tournaments and leagues all around the world. Then, if GW still produces minis for BB, I will buy most of them, if another company do it, I will buy them to the other company. 8)

Well I have all 21 teams - all painted, and all are above 18 figs pretty much.

Ie- I have 20 or so zons to cover league play and tourneys. Same for Welfs, 21, coz I might need lots of linemen to start in a league but have the positionals in tourneys. It goes on and on. Vamps need 18, 6 vamps and 12 thralls.

I used to play in a league with 1 year seasons.
So pretty much every season, each coach (around 30 of those) went out and bought a new team.
Adds up to a lot of miniatures.
I honestly don't think that a single coach in the league owns fewer than 5 teams.

Me? I'm the worst of the bunch.
My collection is almost complete: I own 27 teams - the 21 official teams + Slann, Bretonnian, Chaos Pact, Underworld, Tilea and Daemons.
So, just around 280 miniatures - and 270 of those are painted. (Just half a team to go, and "ready to play" collection will be truly complete).

Cheers
Martin

60 dwarves in one team? I'm sure, this includes a variety of coaching staff.
Anyway, in our club, there are rarely any players who just play blood bowl, most play any kind of warhammer as well. But Blood Bowl is a typical skirmish game in GWs policy: support it, so that many players buy it, and then leave it.
It's been the same with every other skirmish so far, just Blood Bowl is to funny.

Most of Olaf's minis are spectators if I remember correctly.

From the replies I'm not sure if people understood me or whether you are all just agreeing with me.

Every player I know started with one team, but the urge was too much for them and they bought more. GW should recognise this and make us some nice shiny new models!!

The replies on that matter were in agreement.

Then someone mentioned a Dwarf team with 100+ fig and we all went right off topic... for a change...

Seriously though, how many people do you know who play regularly who have resisted the urge to buy more than one team?
If I could afford one of every type of team, that would be great! I am trying to entice my gaming group members to play, and what better way than to let them pick any team they want and have miniatures ready to use?
