So...next year...

Post by Jackhammer »

Who's taking what to next years GT?

This year, i had the attitude that I was going for a laugh and was gonna take humans and hope not to lose all my games.
Thats all well and good, but when you come up against someone who's really there for the win, you can't react to it an all you can do is lose.
So, next year, I'm gonna take something a bit more competative, probably Necro's.
I'm gonna mask my inability to win with a greater team.

yeah i did notice that.

I've done some conversions for my werewolves, although they've turned out a little big. Theyre not quite minotour size, but they fit easily onto a 40K terminator size base. Anyone think the ref's would have a problem with it? The only one I could see is that its a bit misleading like theyre a big-guy or something?

If I can make it next time then I will FINALLY get to use my Chaos Human team, using Galak's Chaos Cup figures.

great tourny this year, i'll defo be there again next year! prob be taking norse or maybe necro.

and about the werewolves, putting them on a 40mm base is prob a little confusing, and could get a little messy when you have a few players on the deck?? post a pic for us to see

If I get the team together, I'll take Goblins.
If not, Necro's or Norse.

Yeah thats what I thought. They do look awesome, I'd rather post a pic when theyre finished tho tbh. Problem is if I came up against someone using em, I'd be like "what the hell?"

I played against someone on the sunday who was using a human lineman as a blitzer, but no matter how many times he reminded me i still forgot every time i went near him. I guess its the same scenario.

Old guy? Dice cup? Slow playing? Metal catcher as a lineman as well?
