I finished 69th (with ticket 69). :smoking:

With Da Smarteez, my multi-coloured Goblins-of-insanity :o

I made it to table 14 for the fifth game (and Lycos whooped me 4-0  ) so I was very happy with my first Bloodbowl major.

Some great memories (including playing an identical Gobbo line-up in a greenskin-stunty-derby and winning 4-0).

A Quick overview

Winner - Chris Blair (not often found here on TBB) Norse
Finalist - Grotuk, from Spain Necro
Warhammer World winner - Farina (Italy) (well done Gianluca)Dwarves

Most Cas: Ithiker (again I fairly sure) 31
Most TDs - Oriel (Spain) 19

Great fun, 180 coaches. Nobody won all 6 games...... Geggster was 5th with 5 wins 1 draw so you can figure how close the top 5 were.....

Hey you forgot the coveted Game Ball award which went to Ben Hamond and his Bugmans Brawlerz team

on a side note over the course of the weekend I managed to get every sing Halfling on my team sent off at least once (there's 14 of em) with the most on one game being 5.

Also please note that I had the biggest losing margin for a game with a 7-0 brawl in game 6 (why wouldn't those skinks stay still)

Anyways I had a great weekend and I hope everyone else did

Next year its gona be The Little Chefs for the Blood Bowl

Complete Res

Game One Vs Lizardmen
Result 3-0 Loss
Cas 4-2 Loss

Game Two Vs Dwarfs
Result 3-1 Loss
Cas 4-2 Loss

Game Three Vs High Elves
Result 5-0 Loss
Cas 0-0 Draw

Game Four Vs Goblins
Result: Opponent Forced to Conseed (look at the Announcmets thread for better details)
Cas 4-1 Win

Game Five Vs Skaven
Result 5-0 Loss
Cas 3-0 Win

Game Six Vs Lizardmen
Result 7-0 Loss
Cas 5-0 Win

POsting in this thread as it seems more appropriate....This was my first UK Blood Bowl.

Very happy with my results 3 Wins & 3 Draws...Came in 23rd of 180 on my first showing and against some tough opposition! (12 Cas, 10 TD's)

Probably could have score higher if GW gave us all the full 4 minute allowance rather than shorting us 8 minutes a game! I also let an opponent finish his turn on a 'time called' which allowed him to equalize. but thats all in spirit of the game!

I played a Human Team: The Blood Strip Cavaliers:

4 Blitzers
2 Catchers,
2 Throwers,
3 Linemen
4 x RR

And I was put up against:

Necro
Necro
Ogre
Undead
Amazon
Khmri

Not an easy match in there!!

I Skilled up with Guard on 3 Blitzers & Block on 2 Catchers. Seemed a safe option and kept me kicking to the end.

Overall a great couple of days.
Amazed and dissapointed GW didn't have more BB stock even at an event like this but their loss is my gain as I sorted a few peolple out for some mini's for their collection! 8)

Great stuff!!

Excellent tournament. Great to see everyone again and well done to all the winners especially Chris Blair (who has obviously improved a huge amount since I last played him  - well done mate)

I think GW are learning and have got the rules and organisation just about right now. Possibly still lacks the character of some of the other tourneys on the circuit but it was still a lot of fun.

Thanks to all my opponents:

Amazon (lycos)
Dark Elves (carl)
Wood Elves (kerrunch)
Skaven (lupus)
Amazon (thomas)
Skaven (pulpo_fiction)

11th place with a 4/1/1 breakdown in the end, which I was pretty happy with but hoped for more :-? :D

See you all next year...

Even as the guest ref, I got 5 games in, as odd man out.
2 wins and a draw on the first day. :D
2 losses on the second.

But I had a great time.

I'm playing next year - the trophys mine (notice I don't say which ;)).
