here are my results:
Positionals:
Linemen:
Ultimately I think I'll be using the linemen as Men-at-Arms for a bretonnian team and the positionals as squires.
Pro's of the Multi-part Humans: able to customize the poses a bit.
each mini is different
I used greenstuff to create a good bonding surface for the pieces, so there is some greenstuff showing on the mini's. I think it's ok since I am by no means a professional at this and actually just plain suck.
Con's: Ended the day with superglue all over my fingers since the shoulder pads and arms are really difficult to get in the right place.
- the torso's are slightly larger than the legs so there will be slight over lap there. I don't know if this was intentional and they were supposed to be centered on the legs, but I tried to line up the fronts.
- when clipping the heads off the sprue you have to slowly cut away the sprue or risk cutting into the head.
- some people suggested pinning. I think this is probably good idea for the torso's but the arms seem just too small to make this work....so I didn't even try.
I am actually quite pleased with how they turned out as it was my first higher difficulty modeling attempt. ........now to figure out that dwarven deathroller..........
