Team England 2024 captain: Nominations

This thread is for eligible coaches to come forward and declare that they are standing for election as 2024 Team England captain. Please refrain from posting any questions or discussion in this thread and instead use the discussion thread elsewhere in this forum.

Firstly, we need to elect a captain for 2024. Please refer to the TE charter for eligibility information, but essentially an England captain must be English, have played 50 games of non-variant Blood Bowl and have attended a Eurobowl / EurOpen outside of the UK. The timeline for this election is:

• 16th Oct: Thread opened for candidates to make themselves known
• 23rd Oct: Assuming 2+ candidates, Q&A begins
• 30th Oct: Voting begins
• 6th Nov: Voting ends, captain elected unless further rounds of voting are required (see the TE charter for details on instant run-off voting, in the event there are 3+ candidates)

Many thanks for the work to get all of this organised.

I am happy to formally put myself forward to be captain of Team England for Greece 2024. I can confirm that I have played 50+ NAF games and played in a Eurobowl outside of the UK.

I'll leave any intro for the discussions forum after the nomination window has closed.

I would also encourage others who meet the criteria to also put themselves forward - a contested election is always better than a walkover.
